  Hi Mike many thanks for your prompt reply to my email, the news of Henry's marriage gives me another line of research if I can trace his wife's family I might find a new lead. Henry C. Brassfield snr. was a Butler by profession he married Helana, surname as yet unknown born in the Netherlands in 1850. They had three children Charles b unknown, Henry C.jnr b1880, both in Walworth London & Charlotte H M b1882 in Marylebone London. Henry probably returned to England at the outbreak of WW1 in 1914 which would explain his return to the USA in 1920, although my late Aunt seemed unaware of any marriage. Will keep you updated on any new info. I am copying info to Carol we have been working together on this for some years she is a great help to me and will be putting it on her website Ann Anjiyardley@aol.com 7/4/2002
